This mother's day bring your mom to nukkad & get a dish/beverages of her choice absolutaly free.
TEA & TONES
An enchanting initiative designed to encourage poetry and storytelling. We invite individuals to share their creativity and recite verses from their cherished, scribbled diaries. This platform nurtures self-expression and fosters a community of storytellers.
CHAI AUR BATCHIT
A casual yet inspiring gathering where prominent social personalities are invited to share life lessons, experiences, and wisdom. These sessions provide an informal platform for learning and introspection.
BOL DO
A peer-support system for those battling depression or facing emotional challenges. Through our confidential hotline, individuals can book a session with our compassionate volunteers, who listen without judgment, offering a safe space for sharing hard feelings and fostering mental well-being.
BREAK THE TABOO
We tackle topics often considered taboo, such as menstruation, LGBTQ+ identities, transgender rights, or even death. By initiating open discussions in public, we aim to break societal stigmas and promote awareness in small cities and beyond.
SANGAT
Encouraging a love for reading, Sangat is our weekend book club that gathers at serene locations, often near water bodies, with a comforting cup of chai. This initiative brings readers together to enjoy and explore the world of books.
DIGITAL DETOX
In an effort to discourage excessive cellphone use, we reward mindful interactions with a 10% discount when guests deposit their phones while at Nukkad Café. It’s a small step towards reconnecting with people and moments.
PROJECT RAHAT
During the pandemic, Project Rahat provided vital support to migrant workers and the homeless. Nukkad Café secured funds to prepare and distribute meals across Raipur and Bhilai, ensuring no one went hungry. This initiative exemplified our commitment to compassion and inclusivity in times of crisis.
Nirman Yatra
Nirman Yatra is an inspiring road trip connecting youth with changemakers in underrepresented areas. Participants engage with unsung heroes, learning about impactful social innovations. Through exploration, engagement, and transformation, the yatra fosters a deeper understanding of community challenges and solutions, empowering participants to drive change in their own spheres.
PAKSHALA
An initiative to celebrate the culinary talents of extraordinary home chefs, food bloggers, and recipe curators! Featuring a fully funded, exclusive menu by the city’s favourites, served at Nukkad Café, this event offers a platform for commercial exposure, community connection, and live feedback—a true celebration of creativity and taste!
