Pandum Nukkad Café is a collaborative initiative between Nukkad Café and Bastar Police, established in Jagdalpur.

Launched on 17 November 2025, the café employs 20 surrendered Naxalites and individuals affected by Naxal violence, offering them structured rehabilitation through dignified employment in hospitality.

The initiative focuses on:

• Sustainable livelihood creation
• Professional training in guest services, café operations, hygiene, and food safety
• Social reintegration into mainstream community life

Named “Pandum” — reflecting local cultural identity — the café stands as a working model of rehabilitation through enterprise. It aims to reduce stigma, foster reconciliation, and demonstrate that economic inclusion can transform lives.

This effort aligns with the broader rehabilitation initiatives underway in Chhattisgarh, where over 2,200 former cadres have surrendered since 2024.
